Climbing and repelling
Mount Charlie is a 35-foot tall climbing structure designed to stretch the participants and offer a challenge. The climbing wall has three degrees of difficulty, so there is something for all skill levels. There is also the option of helicopter repel in addition to the traditional repelling down the walled sides. Mount Charlie is a challenging, yet very fun activity for all age and skill levels. The wall has had climbers ranging in ages from 5 to 75, it has also seen assorted ability levels from a typical teenager to visual impaired campers, from special needs kids to grandmothers and their grandchildren. With the help of Echo Grove's trained staff anyone can climb Mount Charlie.
High Ropes
Our High Ropes Adventure Course offers a true challenge to anyone willing to make the 45-foot climb. Starting up a huge cargo net, the climber enters into a course filled with obstacles. From "The Log" to the "Monkey Bridge" to the 300 hundred-foot zip line and everything else in between; our High Ropes Course is fun and exciting.
Low Ropes
The Team Building Initiatives Course or Low Ropes is a fantastic way to improve leadership, team, and cooperative skills in a unique setting. The course is designed as a series of obstacles that can only be achieved through teamwork. The course has elements that will challenge the teams in both physical and mental ways, by which leadership communication and teamwork are all developed. Team Building Initiatives can be some of the most rewarding activities your group can participate in.
Swimming Pool
Echo Grove's swimming pool is a fantastic way to cool off on a warm sunny day. The pool is large enough to provide plenty of fun for many people. With a deep-water area for diving and a shallow area for fun and games, the pool has something for everyone. There is a zero depth entrance so the pool can be used by anyone that wants to take a dip, including the little ones!
Lakeville Lake
Lakeville Lake provides a great area to do some boating while at camp. With two large pontoon boats, paddleboats and canoes, the camp has the way for you to take a nice trip on the lake. The lakefront area at Echo Grove is also great for fishing or just watching nature, the lake is home to several swans and other water fowl.
Hayride
Perhaps a hayride is more your style. Take a leisurely ride through the beautiful countryside surrounding Echo Grove. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as you travel the approximately forty minute hay ride trek. You may just see a deer or two or twelve!

In addition to the fun opportunites listed above, Echo Grove is also a great place to: take a hike on the numerous trails throughout the over 100 acres; play basketball, softball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee or many other sports on the courts and ball fields located at camp; enjoy a camp fire in the beautiful wooded setting on our council ring.

There is plenty to do at Echo Grove, which is one of the reasons we say "It's a GREAT day at Echo Grove"
